WHY HAVE PE CPD?
Primary teachers are often faced with a lack of confidence in their own abilities and subject knowledge to deliver good lessons.
Only a quarter of schools believe that their PE lessons are good. Even fewer have confidence in their teaching ability.
This lack of confidence leads to a demotivation towards delivering lessons, which in turn, leads to poor lesson delivery, and a daily battle of 'want to' vs. 'must'.
