Building confidence in your staff to deliver Physical Education
WHY HAVE PE CPD?
The number one concern arising when speaking to school staff is the lack of self-belief, confidence and subject knowledge they have to deliver good PE lessons.
We believe that to the best way to overcome these areas is to learn by doing,
We support your teachers to become confident in delivering their own PE lessons.
We create staff who have the subject knowledge and expertise to plan differentiated lessons for all abilities.
We create staff who can deliver the whole PE national Curriculum with clear progressions with each lesson.
This is done by our comprehensive one to one mentoring CPD course which supports your staff throughout the process.
QUESTIONS TO ASK?
Our CPD courses are a fantastic addition in meeting the new Ofsted framework. With careful monitoring throughout the course and the completion of the self-evaluation forms, you will be able to evidence the development of individual staff.
Questions to ask:
Do your staff feel confident in delivering good PE Lessons and do your staff know and understand the whole PE National Curriculum?
Are all students engaged in every PE lesson and do all PE lessons show clear progressions?
Do lessons cater for all abilities including SEND children?
Do staff know the difference in PESSPA?
Could they benefit from some extra support?
INVESTING IN YOUR STAFF
"The Kanga instructors provide high-quality PE CPD for our teachers who are now growing in confidence and the self-belief that they can teach PE. This will ensure that as a school, we provide the pupils with quality, purposeful PE lessons. They are friendly and approachable and always have the time to spend with our teachers to answer any questions or provide feedback on how their sessions are going. We will certainly be continuing our association with Kanga.”
