We're bringing swimming to your community with our pop-up pool at Crossflatts Primary School
Small group swimming lessons
Give your child the confidence to swim in a fun and safe environment. Our friendly, qualified swim teachers and lifeguards normally work in schools during term time and now they’re running small group lessons (max 8 children) throughout the summer!

Swim Lessons Age 4 - 5
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like.

Swim Lessons Age 8 - 9
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like.

Learning to Swim Lessons
A half hour class running over 1 week. Pick as many or as little days you like. In contrast to the aged lessons this class is suitable for any non swimmers.

Advanced Swimming Lessons
A half hour class running over 3 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like. In contrast to the aged lessons this class is suitable for any advanced primary aged swimmers who want to improve their technique.

Swim Lessons Age 6 - 7
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like.

Swim Lessons Age 10 - 11
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like.

Water Confidence Sessions
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like. In contrast to the aged lessons this class is suitable for any non swimmers just wanting to gain confidence in the water.

Parents and Tots Swim
A half hour class running over 2 weeks. Pick as many or as little days you like. For ages 12 months - 6 years. A parent must join their tot in the water.

FAQs – Everything you need to know
Q: Where are the lessons?
A: At Crossflatts Primary School in Bingley, West Yorkshire, in our fully heated, temporary swimming pool.
Q:What should children wear?
A: A swimming costume or shorts, swim cap and goggles. Bring flip flops or Crocs (children walk across tarmac to the pool)
Don’t forget a towel and warm clothes for after the lesson!
Q:Do parents need to stay?
A:Yes, an adult must remain on site during your child’s session.
Q:Is there a changing area?
A: Yes, changing pods are available in the marquee.
Q:Do parents go in the water?
A:Only during Tots Sessions—parents/carers must join their little ones in the pool for these.
Q: How Much Does It Cost?
A: £6 or £10 per session (depending on session type)
No commitment—pay as you go!
Q: What if something changes?
A: If a session is cancelled due to staff illness or the pool being out of action, we’ll offer you a reschedule or full refund—no hassle.
